Every day we get closer to total equality for women. In honour of International Women’s Day we thought we’d take a moment to celebrate all the amazing achievements we’ve made over the past year. Although our battle against gender discrimination is far from over, we should be proud of all we’ve achieved. Every individual triumph, big or small, is an achievement for every women in our journey to gender equality!
Kamala Harris was nominated to become the first woman Vice-President in the US
 
Scotland became the first country to provide free menstral products
Katie Sowers becomes first woman and first openly gay coach in Super Bowl history.
New Mexico became the first state to elect all women of colour to it's House delegation
Emmanuelle Charpentier and Jennifer A. Doudna became the first two women to win a Nobel Prize in Chemistry
Faiza Heidar became the first woman to coach one of Egypt’s men’s pro-soccer teams
